RhythmArty browser plugin for rhythmbox

I love rhythmbox music player because it is lightweight and it just works. It does not have many fancy features. So, to make my rhythmbox experience more entertaining I decide to write a plugin for album art browsing, called RhythmArty. It search for embedded cover art and in folder cover art. It doesn't download covers from internet.

It is not as good as other players browser but works for me. I hope it will work for you too. Give it a try.

Download files from: RhythmArty on sourceforge.net

Here is my suggestion: Overall its a good work. My suggestion would be to have a rounded-rect images for the album cover rather than the rectangle.with a shadow effect will give a more attractive album cover.
Looking forward for the implementation

Ok I found my bug ! If you only see default cover for an album make sure that the cover for this album is name "cover.jpg" else it won't recognize it.

Enjoy !

Hi! I live in PerĂº. Sorry, but my english is bad. I want install "Rhythmarty" in Fedora 14 but the shell say:

"""No package 'gstreamer-0.10' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables RHYTHMARTY_CFLAGS
and RHYTHMARTY_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
"""

I had installed gstreamer-0.10, but the problem continue. Please, ¿you can create a .rpm file? Thanks
PD: contact me in cfoch@live.com
